So, You're Depressed...

Posted on 5 August, 2017 at 11:05

It wasn't long ago when I asked myself and the Universe what is my purpose, what is wrong with me, what am I hear to do? I suffered from the numbness of depression. A state when your life force stagnates.

In an effort not to feel discomfort, I also cut off the flow of abundance and it is hard to differentiate the good things through the shrouded midst of fear.

I had closed down a successful photography business, moved countries, broke off a 9 year relationship, then moved cities and ended up living at my parents place. Days and weeks flew past without a blink and I basically stood still for two years. During that time I tried many different healing modalities including fine shiraz and state subsidised counseling sessions. But apart from that I started to open up more to my curious spiritual side.

During the two year hiatus from life I was able to explore some quite profound teachings of people like Drunvalo Melchizedek (during the Awakening The Illuminated Heart workshop taught by his student) and ThetaHealing by Vianna Stibal (Basic & Advanced DNA, Intuitive Anatomy, Manifestation & Abundance Workshops taught by Talitha) and Rahanni Celestial healing. I also studied wisdom of Tony Robbins, Oprah and John DiMartini - because they are awesome. Awakening the heart opened me up to the possibilities of life and learning to be a ThetaHealing Practitioner has significantly helped me to clear out old beliefs and programs that were stopping me moving forward in life.

Being open to change or even open to the possibility of change is the first step. You don't need to know what you want or how to get it. You just have to be willing to say YES….and of course face all of your demons in those deep dark places you've kept hidden for so many eons. It's not always easy but it can be simple. Simple little steps, simple little acknowledgements of how far you've already come, a simple yes and a simply delicious piece of double chocolate mud cake with a decadent cherry on top doesn't go a miss either.
